“Changing Lives Because You Care” Oct. 18

Great Lakes Bay Health Centers began nearly 50 years ago (as Health Delivery Inc.) providing care to migrant farm workers, then expanded into the urban center of Saginaw to reach the uninsured and underinsured. Today, we still travel to farms with a mobile health bus, but have grown to 26 sites in five counties and reach more than 48,000 people with our services – including medical, dental and behavioral health care, OB-GYN, care management, vision, pharmacy, laboratory, mobile dental units, school-based health centers, transportation, integrated care and much more.

We are helping change lives for many people, but we know there are others we still can’t reach.

We need community support to build our capacity to meet more needs in the Great Lakes Bay Region. This means opening a new Saginaw downtown dental center in 2018, continuing to provide behavioral health and Community Health Worker services at all of our sites and expanding substance abuse treatment to all of our counties.

On Oct. 18, we will host our second annual “Changing Lives Because You Care” Fundraising Luncheon at the Dow Event Center in Saginaw.

This free, one-hour event will feature inspiring stories from patients about the importance of our services in their lives. Funds raised at this event will allow us to provide ongoing, innovative, quality care to all patients.

Please join us on Oct. 18 to learn more about our mission and how you could get involved. Registration is open until Sept. 29. You must register with your Table Captain or Jill Armentrout at 989-751-8866 or jarmentrout@glbhealth.org to attend. Thank you!
