The Clinical Assistant assists the Center by the performance of “floating” job duties. The duties may encompass such areas as reception and medical assisting. Receptionist duties to include greeting patients/visitors at front desk, processing and scheduling patient appointments and providing support with general office work. Medical Assistant duties include gathering patient information, obtaining vital signs, administration of tests/procedures, record completion and filing. Phlebotomist duties include performing phlebotomy services, preparing and sending specimens to appropriate labs.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Completion of Medical Assisting program with degree/certification required.
- Minimum of one year experience in a medical setting.
- Must be adaptable to changing work patterns/environments on a regular basis.
